Educating Clinicians at SIROWORLD
Thousands of clinicians came together at the first annual SIROWORLD meeting held August 11-13 in Orlando, FL. This year, two PDS®-supported owner dentists and PDS Institute® faculty members were among the subject matter experts selected to speak at this event.
Dr. Jacob Dent presented best practices for treating patients with special needs in the dental office. Dr. Dent’s breakout session was part of a three-hour CE course “Special Needs Training & Advocacy” that also featured speakers Dr. Daniel Coury (Autism Speaks) and Dr. Steven Perlman (Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine).
Dr. Dhaval Patel presented a one-hour CE course “Find Me If You Can: The CEREC Chameleon Effect.” In this breakout session, it was standing room only as Dr. Patel shared tips and tricks for achieving optimal esthetic outcomes with single unit CEREC® CAD/CAM restorations.
