Pacific Dental Services® national support center building was featured in an article in the Orange County Register today, which highlighted unusual architectural commercial spaces in Orange County. The PDS® headquarters was designed by LPA, and features large open spaces and offices, natural gardens and exposed ceilings.

When Pacific Dental Services outgrew its headquarters, founder Stephen Thorne had an ambitious idea for its next office.

Instead of moving to a traditional space, Thorne scoped out an Irvine property and hired designers to rethink the entire office concept. At his insistence, the planners did away with virtually every office door and secluded space in favor of an airy open floor plan.
